Adam Rovit, M.D., F.A.C.S is one of only a few pediatric ophthalmology/adult strabismus specialists in the state. He earned his medical degree from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City. After completing a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Virginia, Dr. Rovit served as a fellow in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Eye & Ear and Children’s Hospitals of Pittsburgh. His practice focuses on medical and surgical diseases of childhood and ocular misalignment in adults.
Prior to relocating to Las Vegas in 2006, Dr. Rovit was on the faculty of University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Professional memberships include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Rovit has served as president of the Nevada Academy of Ophthalmology.
