Carolyn Cruvant, M.D. is a medical ophthalmologist at Shepherd Eye Center. Dr. Cruvant brings decades of expertise and experience in Ophthalmology.
As a Las Vegas native, Dr. Cruvant was a patient of Dr. John Shepherd as a child! After graduating from Caltech, Dr. Cruvant earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed her residency at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Cruvant returned to Las Vegas in 1989 with her husband, and she opened a private Ophthalmology solo-practice in 1990.
Dr. Cruvant is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Clark County Medical Society.
She is married to Ethan Cruvant, MD, an internist. They have a daughter, twin sons, and two dogs. All are faithful St. Louis Cardinals fans! Dr. Cruvant also enjoys family time, cooking, music, and swimming.
