Blind Center of Nevada
Shepherd Eye Center has partnered with the Blind Center of Nevada through several initiatives including the annual Shepherd Eye Center calendar fundraiser. Shepherd Eye Center Ophthalmologist Dr. Kevin Miller is an avid photographer who travels the world capturing scenic photographs which are included in the calendar. 100 percent of the proceeds from the calendar sales go to the Blind Center of Nevada. The Blind Center of Nevada assists people who are blind or visually impaired in reaching their highest physical, social, intellectual and economic potential.
2020 calendars are on sale and can be purchased at any of the Shepherd Eye Center locations for a $20 donation.

The mission of NBCF is to provide essential building blocks for children who are visually impaired and their families by creating a network of opportunities and resources through extended educational curriculum, the provision of blind-specific technology, transitional skills programs, and social activities.
